Reality Star Nya Lee Life after VH1's Love and Hip Hop. Talks how sheturned her negative scars into a positive! She is BYOD!

Scars are memories. Memories that often want to be forgotten. 9 out of 10 times a scar is the result of an accident that you didn't want to happen. Some people try to constantly cover up their scars because it brings them to a negative space everytime they see it. Others get tattoos to cover up their scar. To keep it plain and simple nobody likes getting scars but once you get one you have a choice from that point on. You can resent the scar or embrace it.

This past weekend I had the chance to meet former VH1 Love and Hip Hop reality star Nya Lee. After discussing her her future plans for her career I asked her the Be Your Own Dad question! "What's a negative that you've used as a positive in your life?" She opened up and shared with me the scars on her chest that she received after being jumped by a few people one night. A very scary incident that I'm sure she wished never happened but she has embraces her scars. She even started up her own record label "Our Cut Ent." shedding light on her scars. And thats what Be Your Own Dad is all about! Taking your negative and making it a a positive and continuing to push forward. Big s/o to Nya Lee for sharing her story and being cool and supportive.
