Power Season 4 Episode 1 & Aftershow featuring Alexander Popovic

Wassup BYODFAM! I know many of you are fans of the show Power just like I am. Season 4 is back and better from what I've heard from the cast and crew. I'm on the official Aftershow for Power this season and we have special guests lined up all season. "Cant Stop Wont Stop" Pre Bet Event June 24, 2017

Bad Boy, WanderLuxxe and Heights Entertainment present a Pre BET Awards event featuring a special performance by Sean 'Diddy' Combs. Cocktails provided by Deleon, Ciroc with Aquahydrate water. A few notable guests on the red carpet were Christina Milian, Karrueche Tran, Quentin Miller, Big Baby Davis, Nafessa Williams, Casanova, and more! The party was turnt all the way up with classic Bad Boy records played through out the night. Check out the pics below:

Power Screening on BET Weekend

Power Screening held in LA this past BET Weekend. The first episode was screened on the rooftop of The London West Hollywood this past Friday. The cast of Power was in the house alongside of some other celebs such as Fat Joe, Dave East, Mack Wilds, Big Baby, and more.

These upcoming months I will be on the Official Aftershow panel for Power. We will be airing our first Aftershow for episode 1 today at 6 p.m. Pacific Time. Who's watching Power this season!?!

Top 25 Best Current Basketball Players

Now that the 2016-2017 NBA season has concluded and the “Greatest team ever” is standing alone at the top with the championship, we can now take a look at the Top 25 Best overall players in the league. This list is based off of the past couple seasons. So, you might just find KD as the 2nd best player in the world regardless whether you hate him or not. Russell Westbrook is surely going to be this years league MVP, but I can’t brag that he’s the best player in the world when it’s still Lonzo ball LOL. Nah, but y'all know who still reigns the iron throne. Black Entrepreneurship on the Rise

Today, I viewed two interviews from my favorite radio show The Breakfast Club. The first interview featured special guest Big Boi from the iconic hip hop group Outkast. Big Boi came on the show to promote his new album "Boomiverse" which is out now. After talks of the new project the Breakfast Club hosts Dj Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee transitioned the conversation to being about entrepreneurship. As an audience we learn that Big Boi isn't only a great rapper but a successful businessman as well.

In this interview Big Boi shared how he failed at running his restaurant business in his early stages of being an entrepreneur. But, he needed to experience that process in order to understand how a successful business can be ran. Big Boi now runs multiples business which has allowed multiples streams of income for him. To give a quick overview Big Boi owns his own record label, a 40 acre dog breeding business, a trailer rental company, real estate and invested in multiple tech businesses. I truly enjoyed this interview because the dialogue is pushing black entrepreneurship within our community. Which is what we need more of!

In this 2nd interview the Breakfast Club had the creator of the Bevel blade on Tristan Walker. This was my first time being able to match a face with the Bevel blade that I've heard Nas rap about on DJ Khalid's record "Nas Album Done". During the interview Walker shares his process of becoming a entrepreneur and how he was able to create his successful Bevel brand. Again, this was a great interview because it continues to push black entrepreneurship. There was a time where working a 9-5 was the only way of living. But, it has shown over time that becoming a entrepreneur is the new 9-5 and folks like Tristan Walker are killing the game! Make sure to listen to the interview below:

25th Year Anniversary of the classic film Juice

It’s been 25 years since Director Ernest D. Dickerson released the cult classic “Juice” starring Tupac Shakur, Omar Epps, Khalil Kain, and Jermaine Hopkins. In honor of the film, fans and cast members came together at the Arc Light Cinemas in Hollywood, CA in celebration of the special 25th Anniversary Blue-ray DVD release which features over one hour of special behind the scenes footage from the cast and crew.

A few notable names such as Micheal Ealy, Luenell Campbell, and fellow cast member Flex Washington joined everyone in a discussion prior to the screening of the film. During the discussion Flex shared “many people don’t know the role of Q came down between Omar and I. Omar ultimately got the role but that pushed me to go harder in my career.” Flex ended up landing a role in the film as an inspiring DJ still.

In the green room prior to the screening Ernest Dickerson, Khalil Kain, and Jermaine Hopkins sat down with Eurweb and shared memories from working with the cast and legendary Tupac Shakur.

The cast mentioned a key aspect that isn’t found in films these days is the character development and authenticity of life that Juice was able to capture. The idea of 4 friends from the inner city neighborhood hanging out and jumping from roof to roof was and still is relatable to many young urban viewers. Jermaine Hopkins spoke about the undeniable chemistry that the four actors shared while on set. Dickerson can be credited for the groups’ tight bond due to bringing the young brothers out to eat for dinners during the casting process in order create a bond between the actors.

When asked about working with Tupac Dickerson mentioned “A lot of times in between set ups, sometimes he (Pac) would go off in a corner with a notebook and write. I’d like to think he was writing music that he would be coming out with later.”

As the interview began to wrap the cast was asked “what are your thoughts on a possible 2^nd installment of Juice? We’ve seen many production companies do this with other classic movies. The cast had a mutual agreement that a 2^nd Juice isn’t needed and the original shall live forever. Make sure to go purchase the classic film “Juice” now available on Blue-ray and DVD.
