Summer Comes To An End

Wassup #BYODFAM! It's been a little minute since I've updated you guys with whats going on in my world.  Last time I wrote you guys an open letter (honest post) might have been in July when I visited home (Boston) for the first time in 2 years or so. Now, its about to be September 1st tomorrow! The summer just came and its already over.

Well, ya boy is in a good head space right now! I'm not working at CBS anymore. Thats right no more OVERNIGHTS!! Since leaving that job I was able to sign with my first agency! My birthday was the 21st of this month so I was able to see another year on this earth. Thank the Lord for that. I've been booking and working on numerous sets. Paid btw I'm networking and staying productive. So, things have been looking up and I can honestly say I'm blessed.

Today, was a interesting day because I worked a show that was shooting at my old job! YES! @ CBS. I honestly was excited to go back and see my old co-workers. What I found out when I got there was my vibe and energy while being on the lot was different. Its changed from hating being there to enjoying my time there. And, the difference is because I was there doing what I enjoyed and wanted to do. There is such a change in your mood when your are somewhere doing what you want compared to being in that same location being forced to do stuff you don't even want too. And, don't let money be that deciding factor on whether you will be doing what you enjoy. For example, the show I worked today I was paid for. Now, if I worked the show while still being employed as security I would have gotten triple the pay honestly. But, I would have been miserable working it compared to enjoying myself for much less pay.

BTW the show I worked today was Ice Cube's Hip Hop Squares on VH1.. Its a Pretty funny show hosted by Deray Davis. A few of my favorite celebs were on it today: Charlamagne Tha God, T.I., Tony Rock, and Fat Joe. There was a few other special guest as well such as Eva Marcelle, Joe Budden & Cyn, etc....When the show airs look out for ya boy in the front row! lol See you guys next post.
