Racism in America is revealed once again! #Blacklivesmatter PodcastEpisode

America has experienced a very trying time in these past 48 hours. Two black lives have been lost AGAIN in the hands of "authorities". R.I.P to Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. Following these two murders another incident in Dallas,TX where 11 cops were shot and 4 have passed away. R.I.P to those fallen officers as well. This is the start to something horrible in the making. Tensions are high in communities all over the country. Innocent lives are being lost. As citizens, who do we turn to when authorities are gunning us down?

Black lives matter is what I type into my FB feed. A trending topic that's being heavily discussed but I type it as a statement. These incidents in Baton Rouge and Minesotta are being witnessed on the news and social media. The videos are serving as eye openers for those that are naive to the racism in the United States of America. Because we've seen this outrage numerous times before with familiar names like Eric Gardner, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, and many more. But, why is their still no justice for these killings. The officers go to trial and some mishap occurs resulting in a no conviction ruling!

I'm at a lost for words at times. I fear that the recent killings of officers is the spark needed to ignite the war amongst races in America. I say that because when us as blacks are the victims of crimes there is no change. When the roles are reversed and cops become the victims will we see a change in actions? Only time will tell...

I encourage discussion before action in any situation. Your next move is your best move is the common saying I like to use.
