AFC & NFC Chapoinship Game Predictions 2018

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New England Patriots 3:05 PM ET, 12:05 PM PT

Woahh woahh woahh!! Tom Brady’s right thumb is stitched up?? News broke out this past Wednesday, that the GOAT sustained an injury during practice and left early to get X-rays. The results came back negative putting #Patriotsnation at rest for a moment. The worry still continues as we get closer to Sunday as questions rise about how effective he will be with stitches in his right throwing thumb. You should remind yourself though that....THIS ISN'T A REGULAR QUARTERBACK, THIS IS THE GOAT AND HE TAKES GOAT SHITS ON THESE CLOWNS THAT TALK TOO MUCH. Jalen Ramsey has guaranteed a Win in Foxboro and is quoted saying “I ain't got too much to say," Ramsey said, via Sports Illustrated. "But y'all make sure y'all bring that same energy out here next week and the week after. We going to the Super Bowl. And we gonna win that b----. We gonna win that b----. Duuuuuuuuvalllll."

Patriots fans have heard pre-game talk in the past but I can’t recall a time where it has actually worked! The Jags come in with the 2nd best overall defense in the league lead by defensive back Jalen Ramsey and defensive end sack specialist Calais Campbell. They follow up with that stern defense with a solid running game lead by rookie Leonard Fournette who’s had a solid first season. The question for the Jaguars is QB Blake Bortles who’s middle name is inconsistent. Too many factors need to align for Bortles to come out with this win in BRICK (cold) conditions along with inexperience on this stage and against a franchise who we all witnessed get this done before. The only real question for the New England Patriots is the line backing core due to injuries of one of the super bowl heroes of last year. Matt Patricia seems to compensate for the losses recently and proved that this defense can fight through adversity. It should be a slow start, but I see Bill Belichick and this coaching staff making the proper adjustments in the 2nd half to flame this defense up. Which will add another AFC title to the accolades of the best sports franchise right naaaaaaooowww!

Prediction: Patriots 27-16

Minnesota Vikings @ Philadelphia Eagles 6:40 PM ET, 3:40 PM PT

The fearless Minnesota Vikings overcame almost a sure loss @ home last week against the New Orleans Saints who had the game won until a missed tackle during the last plays of the game. Almost every playoff consists of a little luck and the Vikings got it at the right time last week to pull it off when the odds were against them at the time. The Eagles also squeaked away with a win against Atlanta due to Julio Jones dropping a pass in the end zone in the final moments. This was an unlikely matchup in the NFC championship although these were the top ranked seeded teams in their conference. Although Case Keenum took over at the beginning of the season, I still must put him in the back up QB category alongside Nick Foles. This should be a very good NFC champion game being in Philly and everyone doubting the Eagles due to the loss of their pre-MVP Carson Wentz. Philly’s defense has been holding them down lately, but I have to go with the better defense in this matchup and that's the Vikings who have the #1 overall ranked defense in football.

Prediction: Vikings 24-10
